Why I left WA.

I joined WA at a time in my life where I felt so comfortable with my own personal success. I was studying a triple Diploma in Events, Marketing and Management. I spent my spare time volunteering and worked the odd event gig here and there. I had a healthy social life, took part in extra curricula activites and decided I still had too much time on my hands. So I went in search for a way to make income online. I tried a variety of platforms and found the experience to be the complete opposite of what I had anticipated.

Then I came across Wealthy Affiliate..

I signed and fell in love with the concept, community and training provided. I told myself this was it and then soon after, my direction started heading the wrong way. I believed in making myself successful so much that I was willing to go all the way until I realised that something was missing.. it then dawned on me. I was going to be successful but with NOONE to celebrate it with. I had suffered a great loss, family. I needed to stop and reevaluate myself. Was being successful more important than being successful with nobody to celebrate it with...

Three years on and I'm back and my have the tables turned. I was talking to my husband the other day about making family time a priority as we now have a beautiful baby boy. Then I told him about how I joined WA a few years back and how awesome it would be to able to work from home and still have plenty of time for family. Jumped back on and made him my first referral. For now this will be my fulltime job and his partime job.

The first thing well be celebrating when our businesses goes live is Family.

Welcome back to the community/family and we are glad to have you back with. Congratulation on your first referral too.

Keep us updated on your progress as well.

Mary

Thanks for sharing your story, and we are so happy to have yo back here as part of the family Moso!

If you work at this, as you know, you can create a full time and sustainable business online which will free up a lot of your time and energy that you can dedicate to your children (as you will be making your own hours).

Please keep us updated with your progress as you do move forward. ;)

That's great. I can see how one can get consumed here. Not that it's a bad thing, mind you, but more of a OMG this information is so great and you lose track of everything else.

Life is about balance. You see it all the time. At one extreme there's the super successful business man, yet he has no life. On the other end is the playboy without a plan who hits a wall pretty hard, sure he had fun, but now he can't pay the bills.

In the end you need to find your balance. I love that your husband has signed up too. Now you can make it work and family and support each other in all aspects.

I hope you both have success.

Sounds good! Best of luck to the both of you!

Thank you! Same to you too!
