Hello everyone,
When I first started blogging, I had no idea how to get visitors. I would publish posts and, nothing happened. No clicks, no views, nothing.
But things started to change when I focused on simple strategies that actually work. If you're just starting out, I want to share exactly what helped me begin getting traffic.
I Focused on One Simple Topic
At the beginning, I tried to write about too many things. That didn’t work. So, I picked one main topic and stayed consistent. This helped people (and Google) understand what my blog is about.
Tip: Choose one niche and stick to it.
I Used Pinterest for Traffic
One of the biggest changes came when I started using Pinterest.
Instead of waiting for Google, I created pins for my blog posts. Slowly, I started getting clicks.

If you're new, start with:
- 2–3 pins per blog post
- Clear titles like: “Beginner Guide to…”
I Added Internal Links
At first, visitors would leave after reading one post. Now, I always add links like:
“Check out my other post on [topic]”
This keeps people on my site longer and improves my results.
I Stayed Consistent (Even When It Was Slow)
This is the hardest part.
Some days, you won’t see results. But consistency is what makes the difference.
Even small progress adds up over time.
Getting traffic doesn’t happen overnight, but it DOES happen if you keep going.
Start simple:
- Pick one topic
- Use Pinterest
- Add internal links
- Stay consistent
Which method are you currently using to get traffic Pinterest, SEO, or something else?
