Consistency — What’s Your Biggest Barrier?
Thanks for all the amazing responses to my last post!
It’s clear that consistency is the main challenge for most of us, but the good news is we’re not alone.
Now I want to take it one step deeper:
What is your biggest barrier to consistency?
Here are the most common ones I’ve noticed:
❗️ 1. Time
Too many responsibilities, not enough hours.
❗️ 2. Motivation
You start strong, then lose steam.
❗️ 3. Overwhelm
Too many tasks and not sure where to start.
❗️ 4. Tech Issues
The website or tools feel confusing.
❗️ 5. Content Ideas
Not sure what to write about next.
💬 My Question to You:
Which of these is your biggest challenge right now?
And if you’re willing to share, what is one thing you’ve tried to overcome it?
Let’s support each other and turn these obstacles into progress.

For me, it's being Overwhelm - No. 3 - but that being said, I've learned years ago that I'm terrible at multitasking and whatever I do, I try not to multitask but focus on only one thing at a time. I have one-track mind and whatever I'm doing in this moment, I put my whole heart and effort into it until it's done. That's made big difference for me.
Isaiah 😊
For me the greatest barrier to consistency is the belief that I can postpone an action to another day, trusting in my willpower rather than looking to building sustainable systems.
Consistency requires acting regularly over a long period, which clashes with the human tendency to want fast results and, when those do not appear, to abandon efforts.
In other words, it's in my mind, (a very lazy mind)
Just saying ^_^ Cheers
I’ve overcome all the barriers you mentioned here Monica. One barrier that I struggle with is the “not knowing” if what I’m doing is going to make an impact.
I publish content regularly and look at data that follows what I’ve done but sometimes I wish I knew what I was doing was going to usher me into online success.
Thank you Mrs, the Blog post really hits hard on me because “Time” is the factor that slows my progress especially on online duties.
I come to a stage were assignments, Blogging, research and other projects yet to be completed on the given dates.
I really need to cope with the time factors, and to be more success.
You’re very welcome! Time is a challenge for so many of us, especially when juggling multiple responsibilities. Small changes in planning and prioritizing can really help. Stay consistent you’re already on the right path. You’ve got this!

Hi, Monica.
For me it is 4, 3, then 2. In that order. I have plenty of time, I just have to juggle it correctly. And ideas? You should see all the rabbit holes I have that lead to ideas, spinoffs, branch offs, twist, turns, loop-de-loops, backflips, and anything else I haven't mentioned.
If I ever have a dearth of Content Ideas, all I have to do is read some WA blogs, and/or talk to ChatGPT. Dearth is gone then and there. But the rabbit holes multiply EXPONENTIALLY!
