Proud Share Moment

Hi I am Molly - newer to Wealthy Affiliate and this is my first blog post. I'm here to build a business and learn as much as I can about internet marketing and website building. I started a little less than a month ago and have put my head down and raced through the first two levels of training. This so I could have something out on the internet I was PROUD to share.

So thus far I have build a website - acquired my own domain SUPWithMolly.com and started to build out my website with a handful of blog posts. Today I finally was satisfied with the starting work that I had done that I shared the link with family to look at.

This is huge, I wasn't willing to show anyone until I was sure it looked how I wanted. I wanted to make sure it was tweaked enough I knew someone might actually be interested or impressed with it.

I am building out a brand in SUP which is Stand Up Paddleboarding, this is my niche. This has actually been a niche I have been promoting and working with all summer. I was using my Instagram platform to post Video Blog posts of me paddle boarding and living my life. So I figured this was the perfect next step, build out this blog on land of my own! My own domain.

Getting this handful of blog posts out has been huge success in my book - I haven't always been the best writer. So feeling confident enough in my posts, that they read well, had good content, and looked good was a big accomplishment. I have also gotten through two whole levels or training. Learned so much about word press and internet blogging and marketing in general.

This Education has been so Inpsiring

My favorite part about Wealthy Affiliate so far has been the education. I feel like I can learn so much, on a topic I am very interested in. And at my own pace I can watch one video and do one thing or get through a whole ten-page lessons in one day if I want!

So I am proud of my progress so far and am ready to rock n roll these next 3 months. I plan to continue to work hard each day, start to be more efficient and get a nice size website built. I have a goal of building schedules on Sunday's so that each day I can get a certain amount done. Spend a certain amount of hours towards my goals and be strategic in my use of time.

I am hoping that within the next 6 months I will be able to make money. Finances isn't the whole reason why I am doing this but it is a large part.

My goal for the next year is to be able to make all my money online.

Have the flexibility and freedom to build my income from anywhere I want and hopefully in the next year I will have a good start towards that.

Hopefully soon I would like to live the VanLife! Where I live out of a van/camper full time and can travel at the drop of a hat to where ever I can drive. This is the reason for wanting to build a completely flexible income.

So far I am absolutely loving this - getting to learn and educate myself on these topics has been so invigorating. I hope that you are all just as happy and inspired to be here!

Let's do this!

Congrats, Molly. The first step is the hardest. Done that, move on. You will do well.

That's awesome! Congrats on achieving something you are proud of.

Sharing with your family and friends is so much harder than sharing with the general public. I just showed my website design to my girlfriend today, so I know exactly what you mean! Of course she was and always is super supportive, but there's still that anxiety about sharing something like that with someone you care about.

Keep on this path and you are sure to succeed, we are all here cheering you on.

Yes it is always so much harder to share with the people you love! Even though you do hope and usually know they will be supportive. I am excited for you that you shared with your girlfriend! Thanks for reminding me how much alike we all are.
Have a great day!
Molly
