Not Necessary. To discuss any person we have to see all aspects of his life and one person can be good for someone and bad for others. Same person people love because of some act and not happy due to other act. Discussion about any person is a complex topic.

is not a discussion, it is a point of view and you have no idea why I have this point of view. Had I gone on to explain why I don't like whoever, that would be the start of a discussion and your comment would have been valid.
Some really evil people have made uplifting quotes. In which case I am sure no one would comment had I said "I don't like this person but this quote is good".
I guess the bottom line is tolerance - I can agree or disagree with something and that should be respected. Even if it does not align with my own views.
