There are always distractions - if you allow them.

This is the major problem I face that apart from full time job and a family with two kids, there are still so many distractions on the way.
I always think of completing a task but
distractions, distractions, distractions
it becomes hard to keep focused before moving on. I am sure, I am not the only one having this problem. I just want to put a reminder for myself and others to keep focused, only then we can achieve goals which we set in the first place.

I think that we all face daily distractions, but we have to find the time and a quiet place to stay focused. It is definitely challenging at times.
Can't agree more with this . And one thing about distractions is that it leads to procrastination , which will result in even more Wasted time .

I agree totally Mo, its a challenge to remain focused with all of the noise around me. My screen name is purposeful as a constant reminder of what I am attempting to accomplish here with WA.
Agree ! I get up every morning thinking today will be a whole day full of achieving my goals, the day slips by with extra tasks added into it before I can sit down and get on with what i had intended to do. Today it was racket stringing, two rackets, nearly two hours, then the boy is back from tennis for lunch. He goes back for the afternoon, I look at the computer for the first time, 132 emails! Oh! A call from my mother, order in for supplies and its 20 minutes to 6pm ! Ive ordered a new diary/planner today, this is going to be my saviour! I am going to set goals each day, organise my work, no email answering until the work is done ! I love doing my online work, but get frustrated that other things always push in front !
That's true.Until and Unless one keeps track of these activities..the time goes so quickly that it is so easy to lose the plot.
