Are you growing old or staying young?

Last Update: July 20, 2019

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.- Henry Ford

The older I get, the more I realize the importance of continuing to learn. I embrace any opportunity to better myself that I can. I find it hard to believe that other people would not want to constantly learn also.

I don't mean that a person should not be content with where they are in life, but why would you not want more if given the opportunity?

Ok, I am not talking about being ungrateful for what you have. I do believe you will never get any more if you are not grateful for what you already have.

Here at Wealthy Affiliate I feel there is not a single day that goes by that does not present a learning opportunity.

I don't know about you, but I would like to stay young! Please comment and let me know your opinion on this.

All the best, Michelle

I remember hearing someone say they were too old to learn. They were all of 45. I was already approaching my late 50's and laughed. I said yeah you are right. And walked away. Gene

I think it all may be relative too. But, in my opinion, it's always a good idea to keep your mind sharp and active... this will help keep you ahead of the game. If it helps to prevent brain degeneration- all the better!

Thank you Vicki for your input. I have heard 50 is the new 40 and 60 is the new 50. Good to know. Some people ask if I would ever want to go back in time to a younger year. I say absolutely not. In that case I would never know what I know today. Plus, who wants to learn from all the mistakes again hee hee!
