Are you growing old or staying young?

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.- Henry Ford

The older I get, the more I realize the importance of continuing to learn. I embrace any opportunity to better myself that I can. I find it hard to believe that other people would not want to constantly learn also.

I don't mean that a person should not be content with where they are in life, but why would you not want more if given the opportunity?

Ok, I am not talking about being ungrateful for what you have. I do believe you will never get any more if you are not grateful for what you already have.

Here at Wealthy Affiliate I feel there is not a single day that goes by that does not present a learning opportunity.

I don't know about you, but I would like to stay young! Please comment and let me know your opinion on this.

All the best, Michelle

Hi Michelle,

You are right the learning opportunities are fantastic here and it is a real boost and thrill.

I have learned so much researching my own content and then I visit other peoples sites to share feedback and comments and the boom - more fun info in my head.

I'll need to take a good walk soon to give the grey matter a bit of a rest.

Going for a walk can be so useful and inspiring. I try to do this most days as I feel it gets the creative juices flowing as well. Thanks for sharing!

Knowledge is Power and power helps to drive us to our conclusion, whatever that may be.

I like that. That is very true. Thank you for your insight Derek!

I think I'm going to age young because I love learning. Especially with my job, I can't stay stuck on a primary knowledge I must be constantly changing as in the world of internet.

Have a nice day!

I have never been a "techy" kind of person. I am so proud of myself for learning so much about the world of internet too!
Good luck to you and to achieving your goals!

I agree completely Michelle. Continuing to learn keeps the brain sharp and yes does keep you younger because it gives you enthusiasm and passion.

I think learning new things are fun too! Also, it gives a person a sense of accomplishment when they achieve things they did not know they could.

To stay young, keep Active.
Many as they get older think it is time to sit back and take it easy.
In my opinion, at 78 years of age, sitting around doing very little is just sitting there waiting to die.
With being here at WA, helping my wife, working in the garden and helping out in the bush town, I have no time to sit around.
I have a lot to do before I die in 22 years time.
Tom.

Tom,
Just think of all you will be able to accomplish before you turn 100 years old. I am with you. Why put off until tomorrow that which you can get done today. This is what my Grandmother always would tell me and I think it has stuck with me!

Thank you Vicki for your input. I have heard 50 is the new 40 and 60 is the new 50. Good to know. Some people ask if I would ever want to go back in time to a younger year. I say absolutely not. In that case I would never know what I know today. Plus, who wants to learn from all the mistakes again hee hee!

Hi Michelle
Yes it is wonderful being 60 and knowing all I know and I wouldn't go back for anything except maybe the body and looks lol
Hey I accept ageing with grace :)
Good to see you
