Hi all this is my first ever blog post. Guess I will talk about my journey thus far. Before I start however, I want to say that we worked with another group for over 2 months without any success but a lot of frustration! Over there, they believe in teaching by rote, reading all of their poorly put together posts and of course, listening and watching all of their videos over and over again until you get the hang of how to do things. Nonsense things don't get done that way! Additionally, the support I received was being told I was not following instructions and needed to return to their videos.

The website I purchased from them was an amalgamation of 66 pages of ads each needing vast rewriting and the insertion of affiliate links to products from which they would make a profit promising that I would also be paid if my link(s) weren't tapped. We weren't never informed that Google didn't like websites chock-full of affiliate links or with a plethora of products advertised in the same place at the same time. They also pushed us to purchase some of their Anchor products in order to qualify to be that products affiliate. Of course our "mentors" weren't people with limited exposure to anything web orientated, would get a portion of what their students bought from the vendor. The admin would also get a cut too.

Needless I dropped my affiliation with them but lost 2 months of hard work and much frustration.

Therefore, I truly rejoiced when I stumbled onto Wealthy Affiliate. And quite by accident! Everyone in our community have been a great help and resource for friendship and having my questions answered promptly. When some don't know the answer, suggestions as to where answers could be found. At Wealthy Affiliate, ALL questions are deemed to be answerable and worthwhile. Our training, thus far, is well done (thank you, Kyle) and with the only goal, to help us move forward in our quest for knowledge and success. Even Kyle who is #1 always is just like one of our ever expanding family. No one is above nor below anyone else, other in our esteem.

Having shared that I wish to move on to my fears and HUGE accomplishments. Like most people I'm always concerned not having a cash flow. And I'm really concerned! My insides are screaming help....

However, in my thrashing around, I discovered that today is only my 11th day being here in our community at Wealthy Affiliate. There has been so much activity and accomplishment in my life since I joined, that time feels like it should have advanced at least 1-2 months. But it hasn't, I'm so grateful for this affiliation!

I'm only just finishing stage number two in our training but have learned more during this time period than during the two months wasted with the other group or should I say Brand?

NEW ITEMS PROVIDED BY WA

The scope of my comprehension has truly widened to include many new items. I have a brand new and fully functional website. I even know how to use it as well. We been told by the former group that I could not add widgets or plugins to their WordPress site. Guess what? We surely can and I have the upgraded version of WP which we wanted. My followers currently number 140 members and increasing daily. WA fees are minimal and cover more items that I care to list here. I'll never forget the training I have received to date. The very comfortable feeling of belonging is awesome.
