First comment on website

When I logged into my WordPress dashboard tonight, I got all excited as I had received my first comment on my website. The excitement did not last long as it was a spam comment which I have put in my spam folder.
Then I sat back and thought about it and I realized even though it was a spam comment, it meant somebody had to find my new website to post the comment, so at least I must be doing something right.
I hope that many more people will be leaving genuine comments on my website once my site starts reaching more people
