Stamina Stick

So this is a post to encourage all my fellow WA members to continue pursuing your endeavors no matter how 'overwhelmed' you may feel with all the information, training, and tools that are accessible to the WA community.

One thing I constantly remind myself is there is no success without failure. I was a little hard on myself as a new member eager to learn everything the first week. I jumped around from lessons, to classrooms, to discussions and I found anxiety trying to creep up on me during my training sessions. That's when it hit me that I wasn't working on a constrained deadline. There's no need to rush, no need to rush my website going live. It's best I fully grasp the info and create quality content that will drive the results I want.

So I pulled out my stamina stick and started from scratch. Going through the lessons until I am confident enough with the information to proceed to the next lesson.

To my fellow members who may feel the urge to 'slow down ' from feeling overwhelmed....pull out your stamina stick, set a daily schedule, commit yourself to a daily WA agenda and dedicate specific times to educate yourself and work! Never give up. If you can't find your stamina stick, utilize the support of our community to inspire you and keep you motivated. More members have done that for me many times and probably didn't know how much their simple few words of encouragement positively impacted me.

A big THANK YOU to my WA family for being So AWESOME!

thanks for sharing your motivational blog. Even if we joined ahead of you we still need this reminder. Good on you and have a good one.

Thank you for the reminder. This came at a good time for me. I like the term, stamina stick. ;)

you are right, I done same way you did, so I have to redo my website over 3 times. any way after settle down, learn more than before.

Hi Melana....Our names are similar. And...so are our thoughts! I wrote a similar post on how not to be overwhelmed. This is an excellent reminder for all of us. And, I agree that step by step is the way to go. Best of luck to you! *Melanie*

So true!

Good one. So right!

I have been sticking to Kyles training I work better that way lesson by lesson and complete all the tasks at the end

Great advice KatieMac! I decided to do it that way my 2nd go round and so far, it's working out good for me :)

Mjn - I can totally relate as I am guilty of picking and choosing...and ultimately having to start again at the beginning. It is not a race, and you are correct, just set definite guidelines for yourself and follow them and you will be so much more relaxed and even learn better.

Thanks for the post - I needed to see that!

Well I will say we have a lot in common...a passion for learning we get carried away sometimes lol I had to slow down and start a "do over"

You are absolutely correct and doing the tight thing.

Great blog! It's so true, there is no rush. I had to slow down in my first week, not compare my progress to others and take the time to assimilate the lessons and familiarize myself with the surroundings. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks DNTL! I think we all tend to do that subconsciously at one a time or another, especially when we are so determined to learn and get going. I've compared my progress with others before and then I realized by appreciating our own personal, unique learning style and accommodating that style will help us flourish in our training:)
