In my journey to be successful, I’ve learned so much along the way. I've been through many changes, discoveries and learned many lessons. So what really is SUCCESS? My personal definition of success is defined by the person determining it as they perceive it.

Most dictionaries generally define success as attaining wealth,position or accomplishing one's goals.

I had always linked success to financial wealth. I had always thought the definition of success meant you were rich. My mind started to transform. I started to link success towards a person’s own well being, mind, soul and actions. I started linking success to really doing what you love to do. Success means helping others to succeed. These are things that define success. Not money. Money is only a benefit of success, it’s not the reason a person is successful.

The reality is however, I NEED money! Money is needed not only to survive, but to make more money! How would I ever cross this bridge and bring together success and money into my plan?

Right before I was ready to pursue my business full throttle, pumped up by the motivation strategies I learned; I suffered through some major obstacles involving my health, family and finances. Right before the end of this storm, I had a spiritual epiphany. I became very thankful for the things I was blessed with after surviving some of the worst times of all my struggles. I felt secure knowing there was a Divine Power I had a connection with and this Power has been guiding me all along. It was up to ME to recognize, learn from, grow and pursue the opportunities that I face each day. I no longer focused on my “financial” goals. Of course, I still had money on my mind. My top priority changed to SUCCESS. I knew that I wanted and could be successful. I knew I would have to work hard to get there. I wouldn’t be concerned about money along the way. In my life, I learned that every moment and energy I spent worrying about money was usually a waste. Somehow, things always worked out fine and I always had what I needed. Obviously, I knew how to earn money and make ends meet. So I decided to put all my faith in my Creator, my own abilities and I knew everything would always be fine. I would continue to focus on meeting my basic needs and turning my dreams into my reality.

I now have Wealthy Affiliate! What another blessing and opportunity I have encountered. I am doing my best to take FULL advantage of this incredible platform and the supportive community at WA! I finally have guidance on turning my writing passion into multiple opportunities!
