Ten reasons I want to be successful.
I figured I’d make a short list of reasons I want to be successful as a means of motivation.
- To eliminate the stress of not having enough money.
- I want to be able to help my parents so that they can enjoy the rest of their lives and not have to worry about bills.
- I want to be able to travel. Two places I want to eventually go are Ireland and Australia. Of course there are many others but those would be at the top of my list.
- To be able to donate more to charities and causes that I support. (Not just Money but Time as well.)
- I want to be able to scuba dive more. I love it but it’s not a cheap hobby.
- I want to eventually be able to move somewhere its in the 70's and 80's most of the year.
- The ability to be able to work almost anywhere.
- I want to have a flexible work schedule that isn’t set in “stone” and doesn't have "set" hours.
- Have more time for other personal interests
- I want to take my parents on a European River cruise

These reasons are great. I like most of them except for number 2 and 10.
I am not disagreeing with these at all but this is a list of reasons to be successful. You should always ask yourself why you want to succeed. Then if any of your reasons involve anyone else other than you, then you must imagine this scenario: What if all the people that you listed were on a rocket to Mars. They are safe, and will live the rest of their lives comfortably and healthy, but you will never be able to see them or talk to them again.
You will have a few less reasons thinking about this scenario. I am NOT putting you down or your reasons at all! I'm just saying that you should be so compelled to prove to yourself that you can be successful in anything that you do!
On this note, I wish you the best, and I know that some day you will be able to provide for your parents and take them on that epic cruise.
