Powerful tool called "Listening"
We often fail on so many things in our life and we intend to blame it on luck or not really understood why this was. When we are at a age from 8-20 years old, if we focus and can grab the value of listening to our parents or elders at a early age and take it abroad, it becomes easy and you are ready for the big world out there. Early age shapes us for the adult life or success, those who are lucky or some of us are naturally was a good listener from very young age, they are successful in life, because every parents wants their children to be successful and they will give the best advice and support for their children. Our ear is a very powerful tool as a human, let's put it to practice and the results are big and wonderful.

So true most people hear but they only listen a word people say and furthermore if I can listen to my kids instead of hearing I can guide them a little better
I agree, and my whole reason for joining Toastmasters - I am terrible at listening. I am learning to listen to other speakers and to be able to give an honest evaluation of what I listened to.
