We make our own energy

Sounds quite new age - but it's so true. I am continually reminded of this fact, especially early in the morning when awakened to the sweet voice of my daughter singing strawberry shortcake songs. That simple sound can make an entire day's energy brighter. The sun is a little shinier on the snow; the wind is crisp and fresh; my coffee tastes sweeter. And yet, on the very next morning, I can wake up to the sound of my alarm buzzing. And instead of taking a minute to focus on something positive, if I let myself live in that lazy haze, the rest of the day is affected. The light on the snow is blinding; the wind is bitter and cold; my coffee is cool and dull. Today, I am making an effort to focus on something positive every morning. I hope you will too!
