Overwhelmed.

Somehow I am feeling overwhelmed. Not very, perhaps slightly. My mind is crunching everything it have absorbed today. Didn't work on any articles, spent the morning tidying up my site and understanding further about one of my affiliate programs. The remainder of my way was spent on WA. It just feels good to go up the ranks the more engaged you are here. Visiting profiles, and their SMs. Looking at success posts. Somehow, instead of feeling encouraged, I am feeling intrigued and overwhelmed. Wondering how how how I can get rankings to my site. Granted, it'll be thru' keywords and contents. Perhaps time, is another great factor, as what I have noticed with these success posts. But a greater question when I study the trends and search terms on Google Trends, and even more so on TrendsMap for Twitter. My niche seems pretty meh. Don't get me wrong, I love my niche, it is something I love advocating for. I also knew I have chosen the right one for myself. However, I was thinking on HOW can I leverage on the meh-ish traffic that is around for my niche. Twitter has my site's tweets seen, but not engagement. HOW can I engage these people? Where can I find them? HOW do I get them interested with this niche, since this niche (breastfeeding) is pretty much so-so, especially with many people still with the mindset that formula is actually better and easier.Just more questions in my mind for me to crunch on when I am with my two kiddos later on and during my sleep when the brain sorts things out and perhaps give me a suggestion or two somehow.Any inputs, thoughts, suggestions that I could leverage on will be appreciated. While I have my game plan of what I want to write for my articles on my site, it will mostly be for those who are already wondering if breastfeeding will be for them or how they wanna go about doing it, I just wonder from others' perspective who are not in my niche to get them interested in this niche for perhaps general knowledge? Hmm.

Hi, Mimie. You should connect to Fiftarina. Her niche is breastfeeding and she had reached some of her goals.

Yes, another WA-er have refereed her to me. All along, I have been reading her site and didn't know about it. Thank you ^.^

I think being overwhelmed, in particular when starting an online business, is caused when you try to "overthink" things.

Spending too much time researching a niche, when ALL niches a profitable.

Spending too much time doubting what you have done, when you can't make any mistakes.

Trying to accomplish everything at once, when an online business is a journey and one that will take shape over the weeks, months and years ahead.

Relax. Trust yourself and trust the process. You are going to do just fine!

Thanks Kyle. You are right that I am overthinking. Looking at the facts can somehow just make you feel loaded, as per one of your training mentioned, something like being overwhelmed with the statistics. A lot of things are in the discovery process for me, even though it is also what all of you more experienced people have gone thru' plus even more worse experience then me. The good thing is, having more experienced people advising me tells me that this have happened to others, I am not alone, and you guys have made it thru, and I definitely will too.

Trust myself, I will. ^.^

Your niche is very important and vital. A mother has a relatively short window of time to form one of the deepest bonds possible with another human being.

The health benefits are very real.

Write your blogs with the passion with which you have written this post. You will find your audience and they will find you.

It may take awhile. The training available in Premium Membership will show you additional methods of driving traffic to your site, You are probably aware that Premium Membership is on sale this weekend.

Hi, thanks for the assurance. Getting real feedback about my niche is something I am lacking, and I guess I really need to do something about it in order to understand more about my niche. I thought I know it, but this is showing me there are ways I can learn so much abt...

Hi there - time is the key factor here! So easy to get overwhelmed, but you really need to take it one day at a time. This lady Rina https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/fiftarina has done well in the breast feeding niche. You may already know that, but perhaps could gain some inspiration there. Pinterest can be a great source of traffic, if you haven't got a Pinterest site up, it's a good one if your audience is primarily female. Take care! Nat

Hey nat appreciate you pointing me to some great resources to bounce off some ideas. Yeah, I intend to learn abt Pinterest. I guess I need to know more about doing infographics as it helps bf mums like myself with easy to read and straight to the point info without getting overwhelmed..

Infographics can be a bit tricky - I would be hopeless personally, but they can bee extremely effective! Fortunately, you can people to get this done for you fairly cheaply. You tell them your ideas and they can create the infographic. You may want to check out Upwork for this - or Fiverr otherwise! Nat

Yes, I too can be quite lost with graphics as creativity may lose me at times, but I have found an awesome site called Canvas. Perhaps you could check it out too hehe

more content, take a look at jvranjes recent blogs on debunking SEO myths and just how fast he got his new site to page 2 [immediately], so don't buy into it taking a long time

breastfeeding - this comes up ALL THE TIME in just about every health issue out there - you may be sitting on a gold mine that you don't realize, there is barely a topic in the health world that does not harp back to the fact that breastfed babies are set up better with immunity and has huge knock on effects for just about every illness out there...you could be writing for a year and every single post will have different keywords and different traffic you could target

take a look at the free health summits I advertise in my blogs, I'm not saying they have all the answers but they do have content opporunities that even elevate your niche way beyond meh! :D

Thanks dear! I know the good scientific facts but there have been countless mothers debunking these facts because they dont breastfeed their child and their child is not sickly. Thats when it puts me off. I am not against formula feeding either, because I believe strongly with different people facing different situations and some times fm can even make a difference between life and death of a baby.

Thanks for pointing me to awesome resources. I will check them out tomorrow and see where I can go from there!

Love your stuffs MozMary!

I have three boys (oldest turns 30 this month), they were bottle-fed and are healthy, but that does not mean that they are more or less healthy than a breastfed baby.

There will always be those who believe their way is the best.

Stick to your guns, follow your plan and given the right content, the right amount of work and the right keywords you could be as quick as any or slower - all up to you.

Good luck.

There are loads of them who love to debunk that breastfeeding is not for them and why it is not. I am not here to deny that formula milk have its benefits, it did help me with my second baby during our early breastfeeding days, and the short support using formula have help tremendously with my milk supply. I also do not wish to argue who's method is the best because different people have different needs & situations that require different solutions. It's just that I hope to help society, be it where I am, or any other places, evolve their mindset that breastfeeding is not something that should be frowned upon.

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I will definitely stay firm with my believes.
