Hope is Like a Pina Colada
Hope-deferred crushes the soul. It oppresses your spirit and even suppresses your immune system. If it goes on long enough, it can bring on depression and disease, and long-term -- death.
Hope, on the other hand, is like the sun on your skin and the lapping sounds of a teal-blue ocean, while drinking a pina-colada and listening to Reggae. :)
Thank you to WA for a new flickering light of hope, for a future with less hourly work, and more time with my extraordinary husband and children. More time for making music, and less time spent toiling for future college tuition and a retirement fund.
I put my trust in God for all things. He leads me to green pastures and quiet waters. This week He led me to a new flame of hope. To an organization filled with enthusiastic, helpful (and entertaining) members, and leaders who really seem to have heart and integrity. I am grateful to Him, and to you, and VERY hopeful for a bright and prosperous future.
Highest Blessings!
