Credit Dashboard
Hello Everyone,
It has been a while since I post here on this platform. I quit my membership for 2 months, but it appears I just couldn't stay away. For those who don't know me, I have been a member of WA for almost 2 years.
Yesterday, I asked the question about paid comments and it seems to me that there are people who are not aware that one can either earn comments--which is the way I have always done it, but there is also a credit system in place as well. You can use cash to pay for comments or feedback.
Those who posted answers guided me to the pay-it-forward system of earning comments and there were some who not only were unaware about the cash for comments and feedback, but were also negative about the whole idea. Not all of us have a lot of free time to write 2 comments to earn one. Personally, I like the idea and yesterday I purchased 20 credits for $10.00 USD.
If you are interested, just click on the small, upper profile picture next to your rank and click on "Credit Dashboard" and it will lead you to that platform. I am sure there are some people who would find it ideal and a time saver. Others may not like the idea of paying for comments or feedback and that's OK. Hopefully, some of you will find this post helpful.
God bless,
Ed Mijarez

Welcome back; Did you have to remove your website? On the question of paying for credits, I just hope it wont hurt members who are struggling financially to get help; It is a time consuming process and i welcome the addition; but since there are issues sometimes with comments offered, I wish there was a process of paying for comments by selected experts- no offence intended.
Sometimes I do not feel qualified to offer the kind of feedback a member is asking for.
No, I didn't have to remove my website, I moved it to another hosting entity trying to reduce my monthly expenses. However, I thought I had 30 days to move it after I quit my membership here. That was my mistake. It was therefore erased. So, I am starting over again.
I won't take offense since I am on the receiving end. It is just like earning comments, you are just paying for them instead, so you are taking the same risk of receiving good or not so good comments. I get decent comments for the most part.
I'm not sure how having a platform for paying for comments will hurt financially struggling members.
This is the first time I use the credit system. I have always payed-it-forward. I will probably not use the pay for comments exclusively, since I don't have a lot of money either.
Thank you,
Ed
Thanks for your response; I too thought you had 30 days to move it to another platform.
My fear for struggling members is that the members most qualified to offer quality comments will be the more successful ones who could afford to buy credits. No offence intended.
Happy your are back, a testimony to WA .Good Luck.
Thank you for responding! Now that I have been on both sides of the fence, speaking metaphorically, Wealthy Affiliate is the best platform to work from. Where I was at they offerred support on their end and only confusing manuels to read on my end. I was unable to get my site up in 2 months--so I came running back.
Warm regards,
Ed

Welcome back! I did not know you could do that Ed. Wonder if there is any affect on ranking, etc.
Blessings,
Debby
No I don't think there is any effect on rank. It appears on your website the same way you'd receive it if you paid it forward.
