New to WA and determined to succeed!
So, here I am; sitting in an empty classroom writing a blog. Hold on, what is a blog? And how did I go from teaching differential calculus to writing said blog? I'm someone who hates the unknown; I avoid risk at ANY cost. 1+1=2 and to have a good life, you've got to work long and hard right? Well now I'm not so sure!
Last week, I didn’t even know what ‘affiliate’ meant and now all I can think about is finding my niche and website SEO.
So, how did someone like me end up here you ask? well, my story is probably similar to yours.
Last Monday, I finished work at 10pm having started at 8 am. All five of my children were tucked up in bed and my dogs still hadn't been walked. George, my youngest had drawn a picture of himself at the piano with the words 'I can play two notes at the same time Mummy' underneath. It was at this point that I burst into tears; work was and is taking up so much of my time and energy that my children are growing up without me. It's a really sad realization and one that hit me like a tonne of bricks. There’s got to be a better way!
Surely there are many of you out there in the same boat; hardworking, motivated and keen to provide a good life for your family. I understand that it takes hard work to succeed but does it have to mean sacrificing so much?
Now, don't get me wrong; I love being a teacher. I'm not desperate for change and I'm not struggling to make ends meet. I do, however want a better life for myself and my family; one which doesn't see me working 14 hour days on a regular basis.
My WA journey only started last week; I'm certainly no expert on websites, online business or really anything at all. I look at some of the success stories and feel that perhaps it's all beyond me; perhaps I'm not smart enough or brave enough or capable enough to do what it takes. But what if I am? What if this is the big break I've been searching for?
We'll there's only one way to find out and I'm going to give it my all.

No problem. Things are going okay so far. I just completed all 30 tasks in lesson 1 and about to start lesson 2. I created and published my first WA review today. The process actually took several hours, but hopefully it will get easier moving forward. I have sent it in to request feedback :)

Hello Marketa,
I am glad you found WA. It is a wonderful place. I also have a good job but want more freedom. This works as long as you are patient and persistent (which you sound like) and follow the training. It takes time but it feels SO good when you have a real business to show for it!

Your story is not unfamiliar, many folks work hard to get and have what they have got, just maybe there may be a way to create some better lifestyle outcomes, coming to the online world can be that circuit breaker where we can create that 1+ 2 = 75.
In the beginning, it can be challenging on the flip side that can be part of the attraction, work put in will create, results. We don't necessarily look for change sometimes change comes and finds us.

First off welcome you have found a real winner here. Teaching by the way is an admirable vocation and one that does not get enough credit,at least in my opinion.
My biggest tip for you is to follow the training to the letter. If and when you have questions do not be shy to ask. It does not matter if it is a simple or difficult question I can guarantee you from experience that someone in this brilliant community will give you or find you an answer.
