Apply What You Learn

Being a leader in the companies I have worked for there has always been one constant between them all. That has been when you are taught something, however small it may seem to you at the time, apply it to what you are doing. The knowledge you have gained came to you for a reason so to not use it would be foolish.

I am one that believes that everything happens for a reason and everyone comes into your life for a reason. People are there to teach you a lesson in one way or another. Whether they are there to teach you a positive or negative lesson, that may have to be found out by you as life progresses for you but I am sure as time goes on, you will learn that lesson.

The same is with knowledge. You will never get a piece of knowledge that you do not need. You may not know where you need the information at the time but you will need the information you have received. This is where your wisdom will come in. Leaders will stand out here and apply the knowledge they have gained to their work or lessons they are learning and grow from it.

They will find the places that the information fits and use it to their benefit as it is meant to be used. Not all knowledge is used the minute you understand it. I have figured things out many years before I needed to use it before. The important thing to remember is that the information was still used.

When you are given information and you don't do anything with it is when you have wasted an opportunity. Nothing passes you by accident. We are all here for a purpose and have crossed paths to learn from each other. Let us teach and learn from each other while we are here. May we grow together and get stronger together while we can. There will come a time that our paths will separate and when those times come we should wish those of us the best and move on for their times in our lives have been fulfilled. They need to grow elsewhere in their lives.

This is a part of life and will happen to some of us over time. New growth and knowledge will come to us and new paths and people will arrive to teach and to learn from as the cycle of life will continue. Learn all you can from each person you meet. You never know who has that knowledge you were meant to hear. The one person you may be meant to meet may be in your future through someone you mentor through so listen to what you are taught and pass it on.

Who knows what destinys we cross daily by just listening to what the world is teaching us.

We need to be proactive or else miss the golden opportunities which come our way.

Great advice we should all learn, use and pass it on

Exactly. We can only grow if we apply what we learn and teach others to keep our knowledge alive for the next generation to benefit from as well. They can add on what they have learned to what we have shown them to grow to even bigger and better things than we could imagine.

So interesting, this topic!
Have you ever read The Celestine Prophecies?
Quite a great source which explains a lot about how this can be applied, of course, in addition to the solid knowledge you already have of it!

Thanks for sharing, this has always fascinated me.....

No, I have never read that. What is it about? I am glad you liked what I wrote. I appreciate the kind words. :-)

Yes, great post. That is why this community is so great and going it alone is tough

I agree. Sharing with each other is the key to success in my opinion. We can build on what we learn from each other and master our skills or refine them as we go along. It is much harder when there is no one to learn from or to teach. Bouncing your ideas off of someone really helps you when you are developing those ideas. It can mean the difference between moving forward or staying stuck where you are.

Yes, Being proactive and applying what you learn to your life and businesses can be beneficial when it is taken advantage of. You don't want to sit on the knowledge too long or you might miss your window of opportunity.
