Dear WA friends,
Today, I was blessed to see that someone had asked me for advice in a private message here at WA.
I felt their question was very relevant to anyone growing out of their comfort zone, and so very relevant here at WA.
Her question was about APPLYING FOR AFFILIATE PROGRAMS, in response to my WA blog post from yesterday:

"How many posts do you have on your website before you applied?
I'm still hesitant to apply because I only have 3 posts on my website. How many posts do you think a website has to have before it gets accepted for any affiliate program?"
I felt that my reply to her could benefit more people here at WA, so here is a short version:
In my experience, EACH AFFILIATE PROGRAM IS DIFFERENT. For some, you can get approved immediately, and for others, my current site is still not enough...
THE ONE THING YOU NEED TO GET OVER IS THIS: THE FEAR OF REJECTION
YES! YOU ARE GOING TO BE REJECTED SOMETIMES! SO WHAT?
You will survive and get over it. :-) You can start with the ones that accept you now and keep the others on your wish list for later... that's what I do... :-)
So go ahead! Get experienced at being rejected! Get experienced at getting over it! You will feel stronger from it all!
