Kindle realized the error of their ways.

After my book went on the market on Kindle, they cancelled my account.

They sent me an e-mail that said my account was deleted because I had a previous account which was cancelled so I could have a new account. It says if they terminated a previous account, the account owner will not be able to open another account.

I answered that e-mail directly.

I told them that I never wrote a book before so I could never have had a Kindle account before this one.

I sent the response and waited for their answer.

The very next day, they sent me another e-mail which stated that my account is back up.

I went to Amazon and, yes I found both the Kindle version and the paperback availiable.

That is the way to overcome obstacles. I could have walked around for days complaining and cursing Kindle but I did not. I responded to what I recognized as an obvious mistake and got it fixed.MAC.

Update:

I just got another e-mail from Kindle that told me that I must verify my identification by 27th of December . If I do not verify my identification by then, my account will be terminated. I just now got finished doing that.

I clicked on their CTA button and found a form to fill out. It wants all information that is included on the ID. Every thing I placed into the form had to match. Then I had to take a photo of both the front of the ID and the barcode on the back. I had to try 3 times to photograph the barcode. It finally was accepted and I was thus verified. My Kindle account is safe again. 🙆
