Here is the message I received last week from Get Your Guide.

My first commission:

My first commission was through Benable. It was about US $1.95 three months ago. I have since received several other commissions through Benable totalling about $40 so far.

My second type of commission (not through Benable):

About 2 weeks ago I was showing off my first commission that came from a different source than Benable. It was only 27 cents. The important thing about that very small amount is that it was a sign that my Stay22 affiliate links are a working source of income. It was small but it happened very quickly. I think that commission happened within two weeks of signing up with Stay22. I have received a few more commissions through Stay22 which all are hovering around US 1.00.

And then,

My most recent commission:

You can see it in the header photo above. This is my largest, most significant commission so far. This came last week. This is the commission from Get Your Guide that I was talking about in my last vlog post. I was not sure about the source for this commission but now I am sure that it was a booking for a guided tour in Colorado. The commission? $10.28

Conclusion:

So, it took me about 6 months to start earning very small commissions with Benable.

It took me another 2 months to start earning a few small commissions through Stay22.

Then, after about 14 months with Wealthy Affiliate, I finally received my first significant commission. $10.28

So everyone who is still looking for traffic to their websites and that first commission, just be patient and keep doing what you are doing and it all will come to you.
