Do you ever feel like this?
Well,here I go with my first post. It certainly took me long enough, but I have been avoiding it since I have never had to write this much. I read a lot of your posts and realize that many of you are seasoned writers, something I m definitely not.
However, I have reached Lesson 7,Level 4, Task 1 , and Kyle tells me that my task for today is to make a content contribution to the community. I have already let you know of my progress level and I am definitely proud of reaching this far in the lessons.
I have had questions along the way and I am grateful to many of you who have answered them for me. An individual of my age (77) definitely needs help along the way. I now know that a plug-in is not what I thought it was and words like widget & snipit were not part of my daily vocabulary..
I never thought that I would actually have a web site, up and running with posts with lots of pictures (opps, Media).I have had some very useful comments. and I realize that it needs more work to make it more appealing.If anyone can give me some info as to how I can do this, i would be very grateful..
I am happy to be a part of the WA family and hopefully I won`t take so long to write a second post.

I think every one of us at WA have felt like this - especially in the beginning!
Like you we are all learning a new vocabulary. I grew up with a different definition of "cookies". We took a bite - there were no "bytes" and a "virus" was something that caused you to catch a cold!
Creating your own website is a huge accomplishment!
Keep writing and content and adding to it and don't be a stranger around here either!

You may not be a seasoned writer but you certainly have years of knowledge and experiences that many of us don't.
When it comes to making the website more appealing, it will depend on the targeted age group you are focusing on and your chosen Niche.

Thanks! I`m focusing on ages 4 to 80+ (tennis) so my website has to appeal to a wide variety of ages.

if you want to go the paid route they are a few places where you can get high quality articles for a reasonable price.
