When in doubt - just keep at it!

So I've been working on my 1st website with my fiance for almost 2 months...or I think I've hit the 2 month mark, I forget now. I came into this with no expectations whatsoever. I've even been telling others the same - dont expect anything, its not a race, I dont expect anything at all until maybe the 6 month mark.
My pace has been slowing down somewhat, been diligently puting out at least 2 articles a week since the start of October, but making sure their at least of good quality.
Checked my email yesterday morning as I woke up and was surprised to see that Viglink sent me a congratulatsion on my first sale. At first I thought it was a hoaks, but checking online I finally had a number on my Revenue dashboard. Not from a product sale, but from paid clicks apparently. Dont ask the number... its probably as little as the stack of coins on the left most side of this cover image lol.
I wanted to share this small surprise with everyone because I feel it paints a story we've all heard and have been telling everyone else here on WA. Its not a race. Just keep at it and eventually you will have your foot in the door and things will start to trickle in.

I am still surprised to this day. I'm only 2 months in... but sometimes when you have that urge to see your analytics - how many visitors, how many clicks, how much converted to a sale - and to see its still a zero (0) - yes i'ts scary. And then you tell yourself... I need to continue, but "when will I finally make my first dollar?"
Take my little achievement as a testament when you start to doubt yourself (I have many times already). You will make your first buck eventually.
I'm not as lucky as others who have made it bigger in a shorter time frame, but at least I know I'm doing something right to have made something.
If your on the same road as me... I'm telling you now - you'll get there, just keep at it!
