Hi all,
I am going to share and experience with you all that has rocked my WA world this week and put me behind by a full week so far. This is so it hopefully doesn't happen to you as it was something I was completely unaware of.
This week my website stopped working on me. DNS look up failed and I tried everything to get it back up and running. I contacted WA support and they told me hosting was fine and it was an issue with the domain provider. I then contacted my domain provider who of course took their sweet time getting back to me letting me know they had suspended my account because I hadn't verified my contact details and they had sent several emails warning me.

Domain registrars require contact details to be verified usually via an email link. Easy to do and not a problem but it is apparently a legal requirement for domain registration. Now you may be asking "but my domain provider told me that. What happened to you?".
I registered my domain on an email account I don't often use and as a consequence I missed said emails notifying me and therefore resulted in my account suspension. I have now verified my details as of Friday night but my website still isn't working, leading me to believe I now have to wait until the next business day to wait for my account to be unsuspended.
I just wanted to blog to let people know so that hopefully the same thing doesn't happen to you.
Cheers,
Matt
