Hopefully moving in the right direction.gradually!
Well, I have been around for approximately one month... learning, learning... changing my website and then changing it again. I haven't actually "put it out there" so much as I've been fiddling with the way I will do it, and the way I want it to go.
I've had to learn so much as it's really a new concept to me, but I am gradually getting a better feeling for it as I go along.
I so much appreciate the help I've received from our community, chiefly through having my questions answered when I type them in. This I'm finding is absolutely wonderful. Thanks everyone.
There is so much more to learn, but I'm trying to apply what I learn as I go, so I'm moving through the trainings relatively slowly.

Here is something you might want to consider -
My very first impression when I visited your site was the very large depth of the black header at the top
It takes up about 3 1/2 inches of space (from top to bottom of header)
and on my computer screen that meant I could only see two lines of text below the title of your page
When I scrolled down just one mouse-click that changed the amount of your black header from 3 1/2 inches to 1 1/2 inches AND I could then see five lines of text without scrolling down more
Not every visitor will bother to scroll down to find the "good stuff" on your page - if they see info that they like near the top of your page they may decide to stay and study it more
On the other hand if the "good stuff" is farther down your page then the people who do not bother to scroll down will "never" see it
