My Wealth Affiliate Journey

I became familiar with wealth affiliate after surfing the internet seeking for a work at home business that could create a second income stream. A friend who encouraged me to find a way to create residual income offer a few suggestion which I quickly realized they were not for me.

After reading about wealth affiliate I thought it was something that I could benefit from and later signed up for membership.

I have always been fearful about writing content. I was, however, determined to correct this situation for my own self-improvement and became convinced that my decision to join the wealth affiliate was to my advantage.

I was inspired and further encouraged by Eleanor Roosevelt’s quote

“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which ‘you really stop to look fear in the face’. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do”.

My deep desire to improve and develop my writing skills, my self-confidence and income need was driven by my need to become successful in sales as a sales representative through which I earned my living as well as building this business at WA and become accomplished with my website business. Both these areas requires me to be tactful in my writing..

I was very conscious of my inability to write adequately and was aware that I had a lot to learn, which I am learning every time I wrote something.

I can recall that day when I wrote About Me at wealth affiliate I was shaking with nerves but I proceeded to tell the community about myself after which despite the community knowing a little about me I felt nerves.

As I progressed through my content writing I became gradually confident and experienced less discomfort when writing content or communicating generally.

Believe me when I say I kept assessing myself and was gradually becoming aware of the changes in my content.

Looking back over the period during which I have been associated with wealth affiliate I feel

that I have come a long way. I am now more confident in my ability. There is however, still so much more I need to do in my own self enhancement. I must work on my articulation and grammar usage. be more confident in my writing as well. .

We must always avoid comparing ourselves or our progress with others remembering that no matter how good you are there is always going to be someone who is better than you . I am reminded of the parable that the lord gave of a man who was going abroad and before he departed he distributed talents to three of his servants. To the first he gave three talents, the second

two and to the third he gave one. The lesson here is that the Lord does not ask us to do like someone else but he wants us to do the best we can with what he has given us.

Friends it is with these thoughts in mind that I plan to continue to focus on my own advancement whilst building a business through content writing on my site and at wealth affiliate and to assist those ones I meet along the way.

I wish to end by asking ‘why must we allow ourselves to be overcome by fear’?

I think It is because we feel that we will be criticized by those whose skills we feel far exceeds ours. We then become so critical of ourselves and feel that we don’t write good enough or that we can’t do it as others could and so we set ourselves back. Let us always remember to uplift ourselves rather than devalue ourselves.

This is a remarkable opportunity for us at wealth affiliate so let’s make it a successful journey, as we are a community of loving and supporting people. What a remarkable training program we have here.

I encourage you to learn all you can to build your website. There is much more here than learning to build a business, but also learning life time skills.
