Marking a Milestone on Wealthy Affiliate
It's important to celebrate successes so, after a long stretch of doing other things, I am publishing my 50th blog post! It would be nice if it contained a few words of wisdom, but I can't guarantee that. :-) So keep reading and hope for the best.
In the space between this post and my 49th post, I guess I took my own advice and focused on one thing: teaching English conversation. It is always enlightening and inspirational to interact with people and hear their thoughts, but conversation lessons have given me a unique opportunity to be inspired and enlightened by lots of different people every week.
My job is to listen to them speak English, correct them if they make mistakes, and ask them questions to make them communicate instead of thinking too much about grammar. One of the things I learned was that this free practice made all of my students feel more confident when they had to speak English at some other time, with customers or in class.
In addition to being a teacher, I'm also a university student. Since my last blog post, I've finished two college courses for my business administration degree, one of which involved writing a research paper on the benefits of conversation lessons. I'm now in the third week of my Ethics & Social Responsibility class, and I want to confirm what I said in another blog post last year. Going back to school is a good thing. I have been challenged and I have grown as a person as a result of this choice, and I am determined to meet my end goal of becoming better at business. Again, free practice builds confidence, not only for my students when they speak, but for me in my studies. Therefore, it must also be true that regular writing is the key to producing good content and getting sales.
So during the next two months, I am looking forward to daily practice: spending more time on Wealthy Affiliate every day, continuing the training, and writing new articles. My website needs to become a place where people find help, so I'm putting together a list of keywords. I'm going to review my website structure, change the menus on the homepage, and add new images. Then, I'll start creating content for the next few months.
I think the concept "practice builds confidence" is going to become my motto for this year. After all, practice (or daily work) is what enables us to see what activities produce results. It is all that we have as output each day, and if we consider it valuable, our motivation increases and we become experts.
Aristotle said it best: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit".
And that's it for this 50th post! Thanks for reading.

I definitely agree habits are what make success. Without good habits, it is much harder.

Good habits are really important. We've got to lose the bad habits.
