What Wealthy Affiliate Can Do For You

I am getting to my 1 year anniversary here at Wealthy Affiliate, and I wanted to share with you what brought me here to Wealthy Affiliate, what I have learned so far at Wealthy Affiliate, and what Wealthy Affiliate can do for you.

Why I Am At Wealthy Affiliate

I am a stay at home mom and for several years I searched the internet for ways a mom could make money at home. When I say years, I really mean it. When I started this search, I didn't think it would be very hard. I was wrong.

I have a college degree and many years of experience working in several levels of business, so I thought there should be many things I could do from home to earn some money.

I needed to find something that would be flexible around my son including some days not working at all. I wanted it to be legit honest work and I didn't want to pay money out to earn money.

I finally decided that creating a website might be the path for me. So, with my new-found discovery, I set out finding out everything I could about building a website, and how I was going to earn money from a website and what tools would I need to build this website.

That lead me to a company where I signed up to learn how to make a website. It cost me some money to get signed up, but not a terribly large amount of money, so I decided to give it a shot.

After paying my fee, and before I was every allowed in to see what I was going to learn, I was given a long list of tasks to complete to get myself setup, but I was eager, so I went about creating new email address, a different PayPal account, adding Dropbox and so many other tasks. I was informed in a few days I would get a phone call from my helper to get me going.

I couldn't wait for that phone call to get the ball rolling on learning how to build my new website. When the call came, it wasn't what I expected. Let me share with you some of the questions that were asked of me.

"How much money does your husband make?", "How much money do your owe?" "What do you plan on using your earnings for?" And many more questions like this.

Luckily this got me a bit concerned and I started looking for a review of this company. The review I found was written by a Wealthy Affiliate Member, and I joined the free starter program immediately.

I was able to get my money back, and I have recently found out that their website is up for sale, so it looks like many others found it to be a scam.

What Did I Learn From Wealthy Affiliate?

I don't have the time or the space to list all that I have learned here, but let me give you a snapshot of the highlights.

• How to build a website
• What are keywords and why they are important
• How to research and write articles of interest
• How helping others also makes yourself better

This is a very few of the things that I have learned along the way, but my world and what I talk about with my family has forever changed with my new gained knowledge that I received from Wealthy Affiliate.

Where Am I Now After 1 Year At Wealthy Affiliate

I am not independently wealthy at this point, but I believe I have achieved some great milestones along the way.

• Within 4 days of joining WA free program, I had my website up with 2 posts.
• Five days in I decided to join as a premium member.
• Currently I have my first niche website that has 125 posts with traffic of 2200 per month. (I know that isn't great traffic, but it keeps increasing every month.)
• I have earnings coming each week from this website and I am receiving monthly checks from Amazon.
• I have started my 2nd website about 1 month ago and have 10 posts.
• I am part of the Super Affiliate Challenge 2019 and am really excited.

I truly can't wait to see what I will have to report when I have been at this for 2 years. I really wish there was more time in each day, because I have so much I want to get done here.
