It’s not just about adding to your income, or even finding one. It’s more along the lines of, “Don’t just give a person a fish; teach him/her to do it.” There’s some depth to it. Some sacrifice is required with a good pay-off. You may be looking for something to do after retirement. You may be a stay-at-home mom with some extra time while the kids are at school. You may be a university graduate with some debt to resolve. Whatever it might be, your circumstances may require a bit of a course adjustment, a sense of direction or purpose, or a means to an end not yet quite in focus.

You’ve somehow come across this website: The Wealthy Affiliate and perhaps have done a cursory scan, a preliminary reading, a bit of research and it looks, pause, pause, interesting, but you’re not quite sure. Fair enough. A little skepticism is healthy and caution is never inappropriate. So let me help you along a bit by giving you five good reasons to jump in.

Reasons #1: It’s Legitimate

The Wealthy Affiliate is no scam. Not a bit. What is promised is delivered as long as you persevere and do your share requiring a heavy dose of discipline and commitment. And they don’t tell you otherwise. This is not for people wanting an easy ride to the money machine. But the pay-off is worth the effort and you will be surprised at the rate of your growth. And, as part of its legitimacy, you can get out any time. If you don’t like it…quit!! But who loses if you do?

Now sure, this is a business and the owners make some money off the members. And the $49 monthly fee needs to be considered seriously. But seen as an investment, this could have some very positive results far exceeding that monthly fee. So dream a little. What are your financial goals and how are you going to reach them? I am a career educator. I have been a qualified teacher and educational administrator for 40 years and, although now technically retired and receiving a pension, I still get the odd call to substitute. My point is this: I know a good curriculum when I see it. The training program:
