Ensuring AI Accuracy - TIP 1
Hello and welcome, hope you are all enjoying a fantastic and happy Sunday.
Here in the UK we are celebrating Father's Day and may I take this opportunity to wish Fathers from around the world my very best wishes.
As mentioned yesterday, I wanted to share a few tips which I've developed and employ daily within my own business practice helping to ensure any AI-generated content I produce is not only compelling but also accurate and trustworthy.
My personal credibility and that of my brand in the eyes of my audience is one of the most important and valuable things that I own.
I've developed 9 tips I run through on a daily basis...in fact I have them printed on a laminate sheet which is on my wall by my work space!
The first of these is the most obvious one of all and you may laugh when you read it but believe me it's the one which the majority of users tend not to think about unless prompted to do so.
Having worked in IT for over 20 years I can testify that completing this simple action has resolved a good 40% of all problems that I've ever been called to investigate!
TIP 1 - Regularly Update your AI database: Keep your AI tools updated to the latest information, data and version.
This practice ensures that the content you generate remains relevant and accurate.
AI is developing at break neck speeds and its more than ever incredibly important to regularly check you are running the latest versions of the software that you are using.
Of course with most modern day software, self diagnosis and version checks are run when programs are initiated and prompt you if a new update is available, but when using AI based tools and software I would highly recommend that you manually initiate version checks on a regular basis.
I'd be most interested to know if this is something that you pay attention to in your daily routines? I'll be back tomorrow with TIP 2
In the meantime, I'll leave you now with my thought of the day...
It could be the biggest decision of your life...

Good evening Jeff, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Hope you've had a great day. All the best, Tony
Hi Tony!
As an IT guy, what do you think of the WA AI writing platform compared to ChatGPT?
Hi Howard, thanks for taking the time to read and leave a comment which is a great question and It's actually a topic for a post I have planned for the very near future. I can't really do this justice in a quick reply, as there are so many aspects to consider in order to provide a fair and balanced answer. But what I can say is that people might automatically think that ChatGPT-4 is un touchable in every respect and yes, ChatGPT can write very good texts, but achieving this requires a deep understanding of AI tools to get the best out of it. I'll develop and undertake some standard tests comparing a couple of AI SEO writers, including WA's and present the findings within a future post. I hope that will be useful to you. Hope you've enjoyed a fantastic day. All the best Tony
Thanks for responding Tony! I'll look forward to that post!
I too have been using both the WA AI platform and ChatGPT to create articles. I have been comparing the two on similar content. I get great content from both, some inaccurate, but with my edits I come up with some nice blog posts.
Hi Howard, I have found similar results, but to allow honest testing between writers, I want to ensure I feed AI tools with the same inputs as much as possible obviously depending on the workflow thats required to generate a blog post, as if a stranger is using the tool for the first time. I also want to check for SEO optimisation. There is no doubt that with the right prompts these writers are producing exceptional copy and these tools are improving with every upgrade. Perhaps we might even collaborate in the near future and try some tests independently and see how we both get on. One for the near future I think. All the best, Tony
Definitely sounds like a basic tip Tony, but... it is one that a lot of us forget to do on a daily basis... myself included!!
Much appreciated buddy and I look forward to the next one!!
Have a fantastic Father's Day!!
👍👍
Hi Nick, I did warn that the 1st one was an obvious one, but in terms of having the best chance of generating the most relevant and accurate information and facts as is possible we need to ensure we're using the most recent versions as these tools as the available databases and the embedded algorithms are constantly evolving and growing at an exponential rate. Hoping you've had a great day thus far. England's first game in the Euro's this evening, do you follow the football? All the best, Tony
You did indeed Tony and I certainly can't disagree with your points here!!
As for the football, well..... I absolutely love it and am watching the France game right now!!
We should have done better after the first half hour we had last night, but a win is a win in tournament football and that's all that really matters!!
Enjoy the rest of your week as well my friend! :-)
Yep, like you say, a win is a win, particularly when it comes to tournament football. I don't think I've ever in my entire life watched an England game without feeling uncomfortable. and in pain, something I take for granted now. Looks like Mbappé may missing for the Netherlands game on Friday...although latest I heard is he doesn't need surgery so we'll have to wait and see. Enjoy.
I always take the pain and uncomfortable moments for granted as well my friend!!
But... the best game I remember was back in 2001 I believe when we thrashed de Germans 5-1 on their own soil...
It was just a qualifier if I remember correctly as well!!
Mbappé will be a great loss for the French though... let's see what transpires!!
Watching Scotland vs Switzerland right now and I am in Switzerland... things have gone pretty quiet after that first goal... early days still though!!

This is a great tip, Tony. I did not trust my AI tools much for awhile. Then I realized that this was partly because I was ignoring them so nothing updated and I worried about accuracy. This is still abit of a problem, but not as bad when the tools are refreshed. As well, I may not be using the best tools.
JIm
Hi Jim, thanks for your comments and sharing your experiences. I think you have raised a very important point and it hits the nail on the head. It's really important to find the right tools and also learn and adopt the correct skills getting the best out of those tools. I'm going to do some testing of various tools and compare how they perform and share these results in future posts. It will be great if we can all get together and share what is working and what is not to help us see positive results that contribute towards successes in our businesses. All the best, Tony
I am still wary of AI so it is going slowly for me, but I can see the potential
Jim
I think if you take the time to know what it is you want, then we find the best tools that can deliver and learn to use them in order to get the very best out of them. It's early days yet and things are evolving on a daily basis. I anticipate great things to come. Thanks Jim, catch up with you again soon.
