To the Caregivers of Alzheimer's parents
I have noticed how in some families only one person takes care of the family member who has this horrible disease. And sometimes that one person feels trapped in kind of a never never land. But it is imperative that you get help. It can be very stressful to deal with this alone. My advice is get educated on what you are dealing with. That alone will take away some of the stress, as you won't be wondering what to do, you will know what to do.
My mother has Alzheimer and for the most part she lives with my sister. But whenever we can, we go get my mom for a few months to give my sister a rest. For more information about being a caregiver go to my site. homehealthcaregiverjob.com

This is a special niche for sure. This is happening more and more and I have read a couple of you blogs and they are great! I will read this one also that you left. Your Mom is Blessed to have her family take care of her.
Caregivers are very imports\ant for the elderly and disabled. A great specialty and niche component Marjorie!
Marjorie, have you tried giving your mother 2 Tbs. of Coconut Oil a day? My Mom had Alzheimer's and I've been using coconut oil for the last couple of years as a preventative measure. I use it in my morning coffee and it does help me focus better than just the coffee itself. There is a lot of info on Coconut Oil and Alzheimer's online and YouTube. If my Mom was still with us I would have her on it.
Yes if you check my site you will see we took our mother from starting not to recognize us to using the phone again having normal conversations. Coconut oil is a carrier fat for Turmeric along with other ingredients we put in her drink. My other site is hopeforalzheimer.com check it out. You may be able to help someone else. My mom started doing so much better that we are taking a family trip with her this year. Sorry to hear about your mom.

My mother does not have Alzheimer, but she has other issues. She is not able to clean or take care of her bills. I am happy my sister helps out too, it does make it a little easy. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for your comment. This is a family issue that needs discussing
