A Call for Help from the Experienced Online Entrepreneurs
Hello,
I have been here at Wealthy Affiliate for 6 weeks now and I am learning more than I ever thought was possible in such a short time.
However, I do have a difficult time asking for help. It's not that I fear constructive criticism. In fact, I welcome that with open arms. It's more a fear that I am doing something wrong or unethical, even though that is never my intent.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm not on the higher end of the autism specturm (I do have a son who is) where I just don't get when I am being too blunt or saying something out of place!!
So, I am asking for help with the experienced ones and the not so experienced ones out there in the WA family to please review my website and let me know if I am on the right track with building my online business.

In general you're doing great job and I like your writing style.
On your IPN Review Part 1 you are linking to the WA Review with a link like this http://journeyofamommakingmoneyonline.com/ ?p=144 instead of http://journeyofamommakingmoneyonline.com/review-wealthy-affiliate is that on purpose?
I'm not sure if it has an effect on 'Google Juice' but I could imagine.
Also do you want it to open in a new window/tab? Because that's how you did. Where elsewhere i.e. the Link to IPN (first Pic of post) opens in the same window (means 'losing' your hard earned traffic, because the user would have to find his way back to your website)
Apart of that well done by linking the Image with your affiliate... I fell in to it (and many others will -> perfect), so would I purchase it, I would be your lead! ;)
When you put a new post, check your 'old' posts to see if you can make a link to your new one. i.ex in this Part 1 Review you're announcing a few times the Part 2. So go back and link it! ;)
Another thought: You want to place yourself with your website to be ethical and honest. And guess what? The way you write, that's exactly what comes through! Good Job! :)

Dennis, I found when I was linking back to other posts that have really long links, they wouldn't open??? So I continue to use the shortened links. I believe that was also something that Kyle mentioned in one of his many lessons??
Actually, now as I write this he also talked about using the pretty links plug in. Maybe I'll give that a shot.

Hi, congratz for your website i really like it ;) The only things i don't like is that i wanted to zoom on the empower network blog picture and i couldn't, to fix this you can add the plugin "wp lightbox 2"

Good looking website so far, your off to a good start. You may want to deal with your footer, it says "Enter your custom footer text"

You don't have to put anything really, you can just delete the text there if you want. I just put By firstname lastname for google authorship purposes.
I have to say that this rather struck me and it certainly gets the genuine juices going...
Frankly I was profoundly impressed by your on-site bio.
Your site could do with more images, IMO, one way to do this is to set a featured image for posts, and then have the posts widget poll this in.
Equally frankly- I have seen you around the place, however, you just came more alive- your site needs one more thing in abundance for sure:

I'm impressed with the amount of quality of content you have created on your site. I've been a web programmer since 1999 and I've been wanting to build my own website for the majority of the past 10 years. I've seen a lot of sites over the past 5 years or so. Looking through your site, you have done well! I like the reviews, I enjoy your writing style and you use images quite effectively. I don't see why you wouldn't have success with your site.
