My Progress

Even though I joined Wealthy Affiliate in 2014, I wasn't at a point in my life where I could learn from this amazing training. First of all, I had a 3 year old, 5 year old and a 9 year old and my husband to take care of while working as a cashier. I never had a set schedule, I would work 4 -5.5 hours in the morning, afternoon or a lot of the time I would close, so I wouldn't get home until 10:30 p.m.

I wish I would have been healthy enough to start the training and created my website back then because it may have been better for my family and me financially right now. I've learned not to beat myself up over it because it gets me nowhere.

So, I actually started to run with the training in August of 2018 because I still have post concussion syndrome from a car accident in August of 2016. I was determined this time to make this work so I could spend time with my family. Especially, now that my first grandson was just born, I'd like to help my son and daughter in law with the baby as much as I can.

When I first started the training, Kyle and Brok and several other affiliates welcomed me and told me I could ask them for help. This was so different from the other work from home jobs I've tried. People here make you feel like they truly want to help you be successful.

I've finished the 1st level of training and working hard on getting through the 2nd level, which is difficult with a part time job, health issues and taking care of my family. I'm determined to do as much as I can whenever I have a few minutes.

My website was ranked on Google, so that's 1 step in the right direction. I know that if I take baby steps, it will all work out in the end.

I've created 3 websites and I had no idea how to do that before going through the training.

I know how to write keyword rich articles and I did not think I could possibly do that or write 1000 words or more.

Wealthy Affiliate is the best place to be.
