Important Update for Amazon Affiliates

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something I came across that’s super important if you’re using the Amazon Product Advertising API, especially for affiliate setups or product listings.

Amazon just announced that they’re retiring Offers V1 on December 23, which means you’ll need to switch to Offers V2 by December 22 to keep everything running smoothly and avoid any data interruptions.

The good news? The new Offers V2 comes with some great updates, including:

- Deal badges – so you can easily highlight special offer

- Deal info – richer details about ongoing promotions

- Inventory status – real-time stock visibility for products

Basically, it’s a more accurate and feature-rich version, but you’ll need to make the switch soon if you haven’t already.

Double-check your current API calls, update them to Offers V2, and test everything to make sure your setup keeps working after December 23.
