our trip to Western Australia
Last Christmas we went To Western Australia to visit our grandchildren. Our youngest grandson was having his last year celebrations and he wanted us there. It went off really terrific and he was so proud to be going into high school in 2020 so was our daughter.
Our grandson plays the trombone and dose a very good job too. He has met Guy Sabastian the Australian singer we met him too it was very nice. Guy Sabastian is the Ambassadore for the school that our grandson has just left.
Then we left Perth Western Australia driving our sons Nissan Patrol which had been sitting in a front yard in Perth. We were on the Nullabor Plain which has not much as it is not a city. If you know the Nullabor Plain you will understand in Summer it is around 44* celcius which is very hot, the Nissan Patrol decided to start to My husband fixed it then we had no trouble for about 10 Kilometers it started to really play up. I had to jump out of the truck every 10 kilms and I had to squeeze this little round ball to pump the diesel into the engine wow what a trip we did finally fixed it in Port Augusta.
We were on our way to a place called Batemans Bay in N.S.W to see my sister but we had to turn back because all the roads were closed because of the fires. So our trip was really very disappointing.
We had to cut our trip short and come home to Tasmania and the weather was really cool at last.

Sounds like a wonderful vacation filled with many memory creating adventures. Glad to hear you made it home safely. Those fires are terrible and my heart and prayers go out to our friends down under.

The fires are awful. It is disappointing when holidays are cut short.
Sounds like you had a nice visit with family anyways.
Glad you got away!

Oh, Maria...
These fires are heartbreaking!
California has it's share, but the immensity of Australia puts an very look on the matter.
Pray for rain that is enough...
Sounds like a lovely voyage, anyway the results. You saw your loved ones!

Prayer is powerful!
When asking for "things" , it's"If it be Your will."
I don't know what's best, so You take care of them, please.
Keep the faith, Maria! It's our most powerful tool.
