Holidaying in Mexico!

Hello WA friends!

I’m writing this post from the beautiful swimming pool you see in the main picture in Riviera Maya (Mexico), adequately taken a few minutes before writing these few words. I still have one more week left. 🙌

I’ve brought with me my iPhone and iPad to keep an eye on my online business whilst enjoying this break. I feel very blessed that I am able to do this whilst being my own boss.

The weather here is absolutely gorgeous. The only thing is that I got too carried away chatting to someone in the swimming pool and I got burnt from too much sun exposure. That’ll teach me! 😉 Aloe Vera is already in the fridge and in use 24/7. Getting better now. 😊 I hope so, anyway, as I have a Spa day booked for Saturday, in 3 days’ time. It includes a hydro treatment (Nope! Haven’t got a clue what that involves other than water related ‘cos of the name), a full body massage (praying my burns are gone before this takes place) and a Bistro (apparently, they cook your food in front of you by the beach).

How’s your day going?

Any tips on sunburn welcome…

Cheers,

Maria 😎

This is so inspiring to me. I would love to be beside a pool in a location other than my house. Warm weather but not too warm. Tropical music plays in the background. An ice cold diet dr pepper sitting beside me and a message on my laptop saying that I made another sale. I can see it now. I know you are truly enjoying it there. Have some fun for me too!: )

Hey Jennifer! Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate. 😊

I’m glad that you found my post inspiring, that was the main point of it when I wrote it, actually.

I know you can do this, when you put your mind, work and efforts all aligned to your goals and follow the step by step training. When you’re ready to upgrade to either Premium or Premium Plus+ it can catapult everything but you have to remember that you have to have patience as your business starts to gain momentum. A dream board may be good to have in an area of work that you use at your house to serve you as a reminder of why you are doing this.

Wishing you great success, Jennifer.

All the best,

Maria 😊

Haha, Maria! My only tip is to not stay out in the Sun too long!

Jeff🌞

Hahaha! 😂 Thanks, Jeff. I am trying… I am… 😎

I'm glad to hear that, Maria!

Jeff🌞

That looks beautiful. Have a fabulous time...be careful in that sun.

Susan :-)

Thank you, Susan. I’ll be ultra-cautious with the sun☀️, believe me! 😜

Looks like a fantastic place Maria, my secret to avoiding sunburn when it is beating down is to stay in the shade with a refreshing beverage or two..🤣

Have a fabulous time there my friend.. well, there is no doubt in my mind that you will!!

Oh, Nick! It’s beau-ti-ful! 😍

You know what? That’s exactly what I did today, stayed in the shade and hydrated with a couple of glasses of water (no ice). Though quite a few people like to order Strawberry Daiquiris and beers at 10am by the pool!! 😱 That baffles me!! Maybe they’re making the most of the all inclusive deals but… still… they need to watch it, especially under the sun exposure.

Thanks for your good wishes. I will most certainly continue to enjoy it. 🥰

That was very wise of you Maria!

As for making the most of all inclusive deals though... on the few occasions I have been to places with these deals, you would also find me poolside at 10am enjoying something a little stronger than water too!!🤣🥂

Continue to enjoy yourself my friend!!

🤣🤣🤣 👍

🤣👍🤣🥂🍷🍹

Hi, Maria

Great to hear that you’re enjoying your vacation! It looks lovely there!

You need to protect your skin from burning and skin cancer (even if you don’t burn).

Get a “sports” (waterproof) sunscreen, at least 60 SPF or higher.

Have Big Fun! 😎

Frank

Thanks Frank. Though I’m not a big fan myself of the sunscreen lotions, I was intending to not spent more than 5 minutes at a time in the sun instead of an hour, which is what happened. I’ll be sure to enjoy it regardless, my friend. 😊

Enjoy, Maria!
You worked hard and deserve it. 😊

Will do, Frank. Take care. 😊

I’m like Kyle, blonde and very fair skinned, sunburn is a no-no for me. I learned my lesson when I was younger never do that ever again. It made me very sick. I had to be hospitalized for that. I avoid the sun from 10am to 2pm when it’s most dangerous time to get burned. I wear a hat, long sleeves, lots of SPF 50 lotions. Aloe Vera the real plant is the best than the gel ones. It gets sticky but it works. Enjoy your vacation. Also stay hydrated. That’s important for dealing with a sunburn. Hope you’re not in too much pain.

Thank you for the tips, Brenda. Sorry to hear about you being hospitalized. 😟 Yes, long sleeves, hat and water are at the ready and getting there slowly but surely. 👍

Haha, i only have tips on how to get a sunburn...I seem to be really good at that. Enjoy your trip in Mexico, I used to go to Cancun area annually and love it down there! :)

Hahaha!!! 🤣 Thanks but no thanks re sunburn tips, Kyle… 😜 Yes, this place is about 90 minutes south from Cancun airport. Stayed here 3 years ago too and loved it so much that I had to repeat. 😊🏖
