Freelance Writing & Affiliate Marketing
My Background
I started my first blog, Mama Fish Saves, just over a year ago. It is focused on family finance, which is my passion, but while I have built up traffic I have done a horrendous job monetizing the site. In fact, I have over 20,000 pageviews a month but am still making less than $300!
I love writing and want to make a full time income online, so started freelance writing a few months ago. They say to work where your strengths are, and my strength has always been writing!
Early this year I picked up a writing client who follows Wealthy Affiliate and was amazed at how much money he is making! He has even been able to step back from writing, and hire myself and other writers, to grow his business in other ways. I really wanted to check out this platform and what it was teaching him.
My GoalsI definitely want to improve my affiliate conversion on my existing site so that I am making the best use of the traffic. I belong to a number of affiliate programs, but am not advertising them well or driving conversions as I should. I need to dig into the training and make the proper updates to my site.
My goal is to ramp to at least $2,000 in monthly revenue by the end of the year from that site.
How I Can Help OthersWhat I love about Wealthy Affiliate appears to be the tight community. As a writer and editor, I know that good quality content is a huge component to building a thriving online business. I would be happy to give insight or feedback on anyone's blog posts or content.
Please just reach out if you have writing, editing, or formatting questions.
I look forward to networking with you all!

Very good timing. I think with your skillset and this training you're going to catapult yourself towards those great goals of yours.

I too love writing & I like the research part too. I feel like I am so close to reaching my goals, I can almost taste it. It is so challenging right now to have the time I need to get my training done. I just keep on keeping on. I expect I'll be seeing your name more & more at WA. You got this!
