Update from JAY
I chatted with Jay, yesterday and he asked me to update all of you on his condition. He is still in the hospital but is making progress. He says he will hopefully be released in the near future. He has come a very long way and has not lost his humor.
I personally think he is planning a great escape while no one is looking. So if you should see a man running down the sidewalk, in a hospital gown with cheeks flapping and hospital workers chasing him… It is not him...it is his stunt double… which means he will be here soon :)
It would be great if you would like to leave him message. This will be shared with him and be sure to cheer him up. It will be a wonderful reminder that we are all pulling for him and that we miss him greatly!
I did tell him that a Friday night without Wabby is like a week without sunshine. Please feel free to post a message to him below.

Oh wow Jay, glad to hear you are progressing and expect to go home soon. Most people are saying hey get going man, we want you back soon! I'll chime in with a slightly different message: take time, be very good to you. An illness like you've had takes a major toll, and recovery goes on everywhere in your body, and your spirit. Even going home from the hospital feels so wonderful, but can be exhausting.
Waiting the extra time for you to get really well first, is good for us to develop patience! We will be just fine, waiting for you. No fairs pushing yourself!
Yep, no doubt about that.....it took my husband 4 years to get even a modest way back to normal. (He did have a collapsed lung due to a chest-tube being pulled...but that's another story).....
He's doing better now, finally. It's a SLOW recovery from that kind of trauma and insult to the body.

Julie! I can't believe I wasn't 'following you' before! But now, I am. Looking forward to seeing you all in the next Wabby and After-wab. :)

Thanks for the update. I was just going to send Craig (Labman) a note to see if he has a update so your timing is PERFECT. UGH, can't believe he's still in the hospital! Poor guy must be going stir crazy by now. I'll send him a note.
