Week 1, Y2
So I came back to WA after being away for several months.
I now came with focus to finish all the courses.
What I have accomplished in this Week:
1- Bought a Laptop, now I am using Mac for the first time in my life. I used windows for more than 22 years.
2- Bought a new domain for an off-line business startup with a friend of mine, and moved the hosting here in WA.
3- Started Certification again, from Course 1, and have finished Course 1 and course 2.
I just need to do the following to completely finish all the tasks:
T1. Create Keyword Rich posts and publish them
T2. add the relevant images
T3. offer the comments and request comments
T4. Creating a Google + account and set it up
T5. Publish and share the G+ post and account.
I have read and listened to several informational posts and audio .
Especially,
How to come with Ideas for the contents.
How to make a plan for content publishing
and How to make a content marketing plan.
Still struggling to become consistent in my relevant content production.
Please give me your recommendations.
M. Ali

It seems like returning members are more focused. Your plan looks like success. Try SiteContent...a good way to track progress. All the best. Debbie
Welcome to the mac world. I switched years ago. And my computer lab at school is full of them. Once you adjust you will never want to go back to windows.
Every one has a different style for creating content. I narrowed it down by picking five topics that I think about a lot and then doing keyword searches around those topics. I started with one topic and am building a site around that one topic which has to do with shoes.
I work full time, so right now I have weekly goals to publish one page or post a week. That would be very slow going for someone who isn't working full time.
Some people write faster than others. I do not write fast, and I am obsessed with editing for quality.
I don't know if this helps you, but maybe a Google search on "how to set writing goals" will help. That would probably be a great topic for a website someday. Good luck!
Wendy
Thank you so much Wendy,
great to learn from your experience.
I will google that and will bring what I got.
Best regards
congrats! biggest thing is to follow through with the training and not skip any steps, as things can be missed. If it is an offline business, magistudios has some training on SEO for local businesses.
good luck with the mac, a friend of mine just made the switch and loves it...daunting for those of us who still use windows, but tempting!
I set my goals in the SiteContent and did a September SiteContent Challenge The September SiteContent Challenge, Set Your Website Writing and Publishing Goals Week 4 September SiteContent Challenge - New Week, New Results, New Publishing Goals So I just set up the habit for consistent publishing on a site that I'm building out at the moment, it is content heavy and a young site and I too am going back over the training and still working on the tech side of the site. So tying content in as part of the bigger picture right now.
The more I write the more I see a plan forming in my head at the moment, and I'll be giving that a lot more thought going forward.
It's a good way to think, but then I see you have an MBA :)

Congratulations on your shift to MAC. May people use it but I somehow find it difficult.
