Life challenges may be intimidating at first glance and may scare the hell out of you especially because they usually come unexpected, when we are not prepared for them.

The inner strength

We all possess the inner strength but it is not something that can be measured untill we meet a challenge. How we view a challenge will determine whether we'll overcome or be defeated. You cannot overcome anything externally if you are already defeated in your mind.

Change your mindset and see a challeunge as an opportunity instead of a problem. This will activate the inner strength you possess.

Affirmations

Speak good things about yourself and refrain from talking yourself down even when it seems like you are not winning.Tell yourself that you've got this and say it with conviction.

Resistance and struggle are part of the game. Keep at it no matter how hard it feels. " The river cuts through the rocks not because of its power at a given moment but because of its persistance over time"

Think about a woman who goes through the pregnancy process and still have to suffer during labour. She still has to push hard for the baby to come out even when she feels weak, how ironic. She gives out her last strength untill the end.

Strength is power

Strength comes with resilience and courage. These qualities among others, carry you through during tough times. You keep pushing even when it seems like you are not making much progress. Something inside of you propels you forward and one day when you look back you realise how much progress you've made and that is the power of strength.
