Premium Member after Day 2

I had come across the Wealthy Affiliate website about a month ago. I read quite lot of information from someone else's site, researched the Wealthy Affiliate website and then searched for negative reviews or scam articles about it. I had difficulty finding anything negative about WA and had thoughts that maybe, just maybe, something like this actually existed, it was for real. But I didn't get my hopes up. I've never really done anything online, but I was savvy enough to know that I should be careful.

For nearly one month, I kept the WA website tab open on my Macbook. Every so often I would click on, look at it again and think "perhaps I'll come back to this, I'll think about". But working full time, having three children, etc. keeps one busy and I really wanted some quiet time to review things if I decided to take action. Two days ago I woke at 3:00 in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep. I opened my computer and thought, "what the heck, let's give it a go".

Day 1 was phenomenally overwhelming, where towards the end of the day, I actually was becoming discouraged. I didn't know any of the lingo, I have no idea what key word searches are, I've never blogged in my life, the whole process was information overload. I wouldn't get through a lesson without clicking on a link that would take me to another page, where I would spend time reading comments and discussions, then try to come back to where I was before clicking on yet another link to comments and discussion. In addition, I couldn't think of a niche. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and am probably overthinking it, but the ideas just weren't coming.

So I thought I'd give the bootcamp a go instead, maybe start out with the idea already in play and work from there. Along the way, the encouraging messages from the community and founders was a really nice boost to help keep spirits lifted. I can see why there is such emphasis on the community aspect. Inspiration and support will always help people go farther faster than if going alone. A great benefit of WA and one I think should be commended.

So tonight, I opened the computer again, ready to pursue to bootcamp training, then I got to the screen about building my website. I really wanted this to work, I really wanted it to be something I wanted it to be and I really wanted to succeed. Why would I limit myself now? Better to give it a real go, I've got nothing to lose. I want the information (as overwhelming as it might be), I want the personal discussion to specifically guide me if I need it. As such, Day 2 is now Premium member day.
