Always Start, Never Finish
All my life it seems I have had ideas of grandeur. Million Dollar ideas seemed to come easy for me. I remember having ideas to create products, get distracted, and when I rememebr to go back to it - there my ideas is, in the catalog or on the store shelf. One time I had this idea for a device that I was going to create and sell the patent for. It was going to make me thousands!! this time was going to be different. I went as far as listing what parts I needed, I ordered the parts, and even built a working prototype. It worked!!
The device did exactly what I wanted it to! All I needed to do is to come up with an attractive and usable design, making considerations to the aesthetics and marketability. Not really knowing where to start with that, and also with the lack of resources I had (the internet was very young at the time), I let myself get distracted. Like a boat without a rudder, I was tossed around whichever way the wind blew. A year or two later - there it was. My idea on a shelf. Dang. Back to the drawing board.
All that to say this - I have over the years attempted many different ways to generate multiple streams of income. MLM's, coupon clubs, etc., but never stuck with them long enough to realize any real potential. I gave up on it. My lot in life was to just run the rat race and keep everything simple. It worked, for a while.
A New Beginning
Long story short, I ended up going in to business, which was merely owning my own job. This added too many stressors to count. The economy at the time gave me a right hook, and I lost everything I had - business, house, family - everything. I ended up meeting a woman that believed in me and supported me, and slowly together we rebuilt life. Finally after years of renting we were able to purchase our own home, and is pretty much the house of our dreams! Life is good!
I knew that having a good paying job is good, but we would never be wealthy drawing a paycheck. I have read that the wealthy have at least 7 streams of income, so I started searching. I am dabbling in penny stocks right now, and am saving up to invest in a couple other ideas I have researched. This also directed me to Affiliate Marketing. I was a little intrigued by it, so I did a search, which led me to Wealthy Affiliate. Wow!
What Was Going to Keep Me On Course?
I went through Level 1, the free version, just to see if it wasn't some sort of "get rich quick" scheme. It was the opposite. It fed me enough information that I could have actually took it and ran on my own. It would have been a long and greulling process, but it was real and good info nonetheless. I ended up going Premium, and here I am. About 2 months into it, almost done with Level 4, and my website https://yourhometoolkit.com is coming along nicely! I have no plans to stop with this one!
Wealthy Affiliate is set up to keep us on track. The Certification program, the Bootcamp, the weekly Webinars! Not to mention the community here as a whole, always willing to help! If the system here can keep me interested and on track, I'm pretty sure it can help alomst anyone!

Yes, indeed. It helps us keep on track and keep moving forward. The training never ends so we continue to learn and grow and be a sponge to soak up the knowledge.
That was a great post, I am glad that you are sticking with this one. You are off to a great start with WA. Just follow the training step by step and you will succeed and don't forget to also be persistent and determination will help you too. Don't give up you are doing fine.
You have started building up 'Your Business' (website) quite nicely. The site looks great and I believe you already started to have traffics flowing in to the website.
I am positive you are going to make a success here in WA. If you haven't completed the course and Bootcamp, yet you already have that site building up, that's alone is already good progress.

Some times it is hard to stay on track but here at WA they make it easy. I think as long as you are taking the training and applying what you learn it can be a long term relationship.
