People actually READING my content
I've only been at this for a little under two months, but already, people are ACTUALLY interested in my articles!
I was creating good content to begin with, but I've learned how to make my content "more readable" and I've really seen results in the past week.
I use to have people only checking out one of my pages per session, but now the average is two or three! I've made no money, BUT that doesn't mark success completely :) I'm always improving, and learning how to better the website~ yourbasicbible.com :)

Website is at a stand still, I have been working on it but its so plain. I want to add color and I also want a easier theme. I want to change the theme before I get to far ahead with the site. If you have any ideas for a easy site that would be great and maybe simple instructions on how to add color like for a background for my site. Thanks
I totally get that! Having some color in the border does wonders for sprucing it up.
I use the Amigo theme myself. BUT I didn't look around too much. I could have probably found a better one. This one is great for now though :)
To adjust the background, go to any page of your website, and on the top black bar (where it says edit page, add new, SEO etc.) you should see "customize"
Click it and it will bring the menu for it on the left side.
This shows all of the features available for YOUR theme. My theme specifically has a background image that I put in. There will probably be a "border" option where you can change the color :)

Hey Lori, I checked out Omega and looked all through it. It doesn't let you customize the border, or at a background image, or anything. I would definitely change the theme!
Just to add something interesting I just learned. There are THOUSANDS of themes to choose form and that is overwhelming...
I found this training by Marion Choose a New Theme As it turns out you can "filter" through the theme to get what you're specifically looking for. Try this out :) That's what I'm doing.
As Marion said, you should create a "test website" I did. It literally only took one minute to throw it up. You should do this so that people wont be active on your site while you're changing themes all the time!

Like I said, I'm using Amigo. I just checked a few out. I really like Lighthouse too, but the header was too big for my taste! Juridica is cool too! but it takes a bit of time. The more I look at other themes, the more I like Amigo
