That feeling when you see your own website showing up on page 1...hard to describe, yet I know I'll never forget it.
Tonight, I noticed in my Google Analytics that I had an organic search hit my page. I assumed it was a fluke...naturally I decided to go searching for my page. Phil has been talking about the Google Sandbox as of late, and I assumed I'm not a special snowflake (at least with regard to the Google Sandbox, LOL). So this sandbox thing is top of mind for me...like, as in I've taken the advice from Phil and others commenting on his post to not stress over page rankings for the first few months. By "not stress over" I mean that I quit searching for my own site 3 times a day ;-)
Phil's posts are here and here...I recommend them if you haven't yet read them.
I checked Google...I'm not even on the first 5 pages. (Yes, I really looked 5 pages deep for my site...who looks at 5 pages in Google? I sure don't! HAHA)
If I'm not on Google, then where did this organic search come from?? Then I found it...bingo. (Bad pun...sorry not sorry, haha)
BING...I'm on page 1 of BING!!! I might even call my mom and tell her LOL!!!!!

At any rate...I know I won't forget this feeling anytime soon.
