Fail Fast
On Monday, I learned what I felt was impossible was actually possible.
I had a bunch of booklets I had to make for students that day. My mistake was that I made them one time altogether.
That's several hours at one time. I calculated maybe about 12 hours from start to finish.
I did that in less time on Monday.
One of the pains of making one booklet is stapling.
The staples don't always work the first or second or third time. And when that happens, I have to take them out and re-staple.
Until when? Until I staple all the booklets properly. If I don't, the students don't get a booklet.
And every student needs a booklet.
I got it done. I was successful. A lot of pain and pressure on myself and from a fellow teacher that also teaches the same classes as I do.
The situation is my fault. I should've started earlier but I didn't.
But what are the lessons I learned from this?
1. Fail Fast
Failure is your friend.
It teaches lessons success never teaches.
But you have to find the lessons and they aren't easy to find. But they are definitely there.
After having problems with stapling, I had the sudden thought of testing the stapler at times to see if it's working properly.
That allowed me for fewer mistakes and getting things done.
2. Work through Design and Process
I made these booklets many times. Each time I made a new booklet, I get an idea to improve it from myself or a teacher.
The new booklet usually gets at least one improvement. I used to do them in my head. These days I'm writing them down.
I think that was a good idea.
3. Make Damn Good Questions
I hate this. But it's important as failing fast.
How can I make this better?
What can I learn from this?
Why am I doing this?
Make sure you got strong effective questions that can help you find the lessons and apply them.
Don't know how to make a damn good question? Ask. If it sounds dumb, change it. You gotta ask and get better at this.
The lessons learned here can be used everywhere. Now, how do I use this on the training in Wealthy Affiliate?

A good presentation Michael. You can get an industrial; strength stapler or you can get a 3 hole punch and bind them in that fashion. A great example for the need for training!
Thanks Michael. I wished that stapler worked a lot more than it failed. Make due with what you got :)
