Will my site work better with a shorter URL?

When I started it was siterubix, then I bought a domain. Well then we combined the two names and I have always wondered if that was a mistake. Today I found out that I can not add adsense of the title being a sub-domain. So I thought I would ask the community what people thought.

Hi Lynn, not sure quite what you are asking, did you purchase your own domain a .com or similar what is the domain that you purchased?
it is a .com . movingmadeeasy is siterubix then I bought easymovingwithlynnie.com . My friend and I combined the 2 together(against my better judgement) and now I can't sign up for adsense and I think it might be interfering with ratings. Thanks for your help.
