One step at a time.

I officially started my website on june 17,2017. I had absolutely no idea what to expect since I had never worked with Wordpress and all the little knick-knacks that came with it. So I took a leap of faith and followed the lessons carefully and, whenever I was stuck, I would ask shamelessly, even if it seemed silly or down right stupid. NEVER once have I been made fun of, or had a an answer with bad attitude. Not once. This is when I felt that WA was a special place. I opened up even further to the lessons, and before long, WA announced that my website had been indexed by Google. I really didn't understand what that meant but if WA sent congratulations for this accomplishment, then it had to be celebrated! I fed off this moment and continued to learn how to correctly add content to my website. I love extreme water sports as well as water rescue and safe practice of ocean sports, deciding on safe, responsible practice of exreme ocean sports as my niche for my website surfsentinel.net. Yesterday, before my work sesssion at WA, I decided to look at my website again. I typed the URL which normally would lead directly to my website. Instead, my website appeared in Google, at the very top of the page. I'm still not sure if this is how Google continues to index my website. I asked the community and got some congratulatory comments and that was really nice! In any case, it felt great to see the efforts of your work finally taking shape. Lots to learn!
