Hi everyone! Help!!

I have followed the lessons for Certification and currently I am in Course 3, Lesson 4. I was instructed to sign up with at least two independent affiliate programs and at least 1 affiliate network (signed up with 3 in fact: ShareASale, Comission Junction and AvantLink). I proceeded with the independent programs but they (through AvantLink) rejected my application, saying criteria is dependent on how much traffic I am generating and how long my website's been in the internet. Both are minimal since I just started my website last june. Also, one of the advertisers in CJ (West Marine) also rejected my request for affiliate links and material (no explanation). Could you please offer some advice as to what to do next?

Thank you, thank you all!! This sets my mind at ease. I thought I was doing something wrong...but at least your advice matches the criteria explained by one the independents that answered back: more traffic and more quality content. On it!

I guess it is too early to sign up. I know the lesson says this but get your site organized with more content and more traffic and you will be accepted.
Look for other programs like Click bank, or Rakuten there screening is not so hard.

I will try both. Thanks spurway!

I am still waiting for them to get back to me. They want to make sure your website is up and running.Chrissie60.

Thanks Chrissie!

Yeah, you have to be a bit patient. In one instance I was denied with no explanation at all...sigh...guess it's part of the learning process. Onwards!

Hi, Luis. I know how you feel, I was rejected this week by a company I buy from regular. They said I did not get enough traffic to my website yet. When I started I went with Amazon and it was no problem. Another you might try is Rakuten Global Online Market, they have tons of companies. Also, did you try Clickbank? Hope this helps.
God give you success!

Hey Shashe!

You know, I was waiting to contact Amazon a bit further down the road but no longer. I will also try with Rakuten. The thing is to get acquainted and active with the tasks required in the lessons. So here I go! Thanks again.
