One Step Closer to Amazon and Others

As I said in my last post, I don't want to register with Amazon Associates and be locked out because I don't have enough posts and don't meet their requirements so I am busy adding pages to my website, I've done a lot of work, but I still only have 9 articles. It takes longer than you think to write something that other people are likely to get a benefit from.

As for affiliates, until I have 10 pages up and finished I will not be applying for registration with Amazon. I want to make sure that I get accepted first time. So in the meantime, as an easier option, I am offering products from AliExpress. They are low cost products and I am only offering products I feel are trustworthy. Some of the products you get from there are rubbish and I don't want that tainting my brand.

I copied the principal from someone else and have added a disclaimer which is visible on weach page and tells them that the links are affiliate links, that it doesn't impact on the pricing customers will pay and that it helps me fund the cost of hosting and managing the page.

I think it's only fair to let people know that you are not being underhanded in any way and I feel if people like what they read, they may show their grattitude by buying from me and not going direct.

What do you think about letting people know you benefit from their purchases if you follow their clicks?

You are doing great.
I noticed there is no template in site content to help with adding affiliate disclosures. That would have been a must I thought??
Thanks for your post
Kind wishes

I admire your style. Can I have a copyright? Some little training will do, at your convenience.
I wish us all the best. Thanking you. Segun

Below is the standard Amazon Affiliate Disclosure that they require you to have located where people can see it on every post with their affiliate links:

Amazon Affiliate Disclosure
My website is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associate Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. This is at no extra cost to you.

Does it have to be that specific wording? Are there two parts to Amazon. I wasn't wanting to have their ads on my site, just the ability to promote specific products relevant to my articles.

I got that wording from an authority here, probably Kyle's training, but sorry, I don't remember exactly where. Check some other sites for their wording. If you have Amazon links they want it. Most people put it in a widget located in a sidebar. If there are no links, Amazon doesn't care.

Thanks for that. Once I think I have enough to satisfy them, I'll read through the fine print:)

this is your goal to have 10post before applying to Amazon. Just keep working hard and move forward and success will happen.

Working on it thanks:)
